DIMATALING,
Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 29, 2018) - Shooting
incident transpired at Sitio Samalan, Barangay Balanagan, Dimataling, Zamboanga
Del Sur
at about 12:30 AM of December 28, 2018.
Initial investigation conducted by
Dimataling MPS disclosed that victim identified as Emily Tolentino Calibo, 31
years old, female, married, Housewife and a resident of said place was shot by
her husband identified as Jomar Jacob Calibo, 32 years old, male, CAFGU member
and a resident of same place.
Victim sustained lone gunshot wound
hitting particularly on her left leg, using an alleged caliber 9mm pistol based
on one (1) pc empty shell turn - over at this station.
Victim was immediately brought to
Chavez Clinic, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur for medication, while suspect voluntary
surrendered to Dimataling MPS at about 6:30 AM of same date.
Investigation further revealed, that
prior to the incident victim and suspect were enjoying a DISCO party at the
Sitio Plaza of said place, when they were walking on their way home, they have
heated arguments until the victim reached in the house of her parent and there
and then suspect followed her and shot the victim.
